GENERAL INFORMATION

In Elf Online, you have a total of 345 stat points at lv70, excluding the first 15 stats given at lv1.

Rovers heading towards Assassin, and Rovers heading towards Hunter are totally different although they have the same type of stat build.

1 STR = 4 Damage and 1 AGI = 2 Damage with other attributes increment.

Highest level of Legend Armor requires 105 base stamina.

We do not only use one pet. There are 3 slots, so make use of them and not just for strolling the cool pets to show off.

CRITICAL TYPE

This type of hunter will do 3 Agility | 2 Stamina build only.

At lv70 you will have 207 3 Agility and 138 3 Stamina.

High critical rate (Critical Rate is based on your stat and also mob level)

High speed (Very fast on charging turns)

Need to use skills to support the damage done to mobs.

This type of hunter should use an Agile type pet mainly for increasing your damage.

Assist type can be useful for boss huntings.

DAMAGE TYPE

This type of hunter will do 3 Agility | 2 Stamina until lv33 approximately. You will STOP building Agility when it reached 100 3 and Stamina when it reached 105 3. After lv33, do a 3 Strength | 2 Stamina until lv52 approximately where your Stamina will be maxed.

At lv70 you will have 140 3 Strength, 100 3 Agility and 105 3 Stamina.

High damage (Do not need to use skills unless boss hunting or power leveling)

Slow at charging turns especially equiped with Legend/Hero set.

Best PK build.

This type of hunter should use an Assist pet mainly to tank the normal mobs.

For PK, Agile pet is good, but Magic type is preferrable too. (Using Frost Spine to slow down opponents’ charging speed)

When I was still newbie in Elf Online (http://elf.happymmo.com/) I always wonder how to chose a good pet. And I am here to share all my experience of choosing pet. A pet in Elf Online (http://elf.happymmo.com/) is best for assisting the master. That’s why I think no matter which job your character is; assist pet is always the number 1 choice.

A assist type pet can heal the master, this skill is very useful (this skill can buy from pet npc), during a battle with other players its very hard for them to kill someone if they gets heal every time the hp goes down. And that isn’t the only skill for assist pet, another good skill can make a character in your team absorb a percentage of damage to your hp. Imagine fighting someone that heals automatically when you hit them? These two skills makes the character almost impossible to die already. A assist pet also have a skill that doesn’t require any sp and can heal the master every few seconds. If you are thinking of killing the pet first, I want to remind you, a assist pet have A LOT of hp, before you can kill the pet the master already killed you

A soldier pet is my second choice, the best thing I found about a soldier pet is that the pet can revive itself or revive the master when the master dies. This skill is super good, imagine if you try to kill someone, when he/she dies, he/she gets revived right away and you have to kill him/her again and by the time you can kill him/her, she/he would already killed you.

Those two type of pet will be my best choice. Of course there are many other good skills for these two pet which will take me years to talk about.

Master-Apprentice System

Leveling up alone is tiring, what if you go to a wrong direction on your long way in Elf Online. Why not find a master to help you and guide you? So comes the Elf Online Master & Apprentice System

The master Apprentice System is one of the best systems in Elf. It’s a great opportunity for both master and apprentice earn a lot.

The apprentice is going to earn a lot of xp, sp, money and some items (level 20 armor chest, level 40 weapon, some plus-calcium potatoes and more), the master earns virtue points when the apprentice finishes his quests, and those points can be exchanged by Sp or some items.

1) How to be a master/apprentice?

In order to have an apprentice you should be at least on 45, and your apprentice should be on any level below 40 (but the apprenticeship will last until the apprentice completes all the quests)

2) How to start a mastership/apprenticeship?

Go with your master/apprentice to Carefree (1400,1292) or Wulong (1912,1044). You should be in a party with your master (and only with him), the master should be the leader of the party. Talk with Muddled Doctor, click on "Establish Master-Apprentice Relationship", them will pop up to the apprentice a question, asking him if he accepts the master or not.

3) The Apprentice’s tasks

There are 4 tasks that the apprentice needs to do:

1- A questionnaire (at any level).

The apprentice needs to answer to 5 questions. The answers of the questions are:

1)Manufactoring 2)Keen, soldier, magic, assist, control 3)Alt H 4) this one i still dunno the answer :/ 5)30 secs

2- A questionnaire (at level 20)

The apprentice needs to answer to 10 questions. The answers of the questions are:

1-sorcerer 2-1 an hour 3-1-3 higher 4-ts1 ep1 5-11 6-Control 7-phantom city 8-2 times 9-i dunno the answer 10-24 hours

3-Kill Snake King (at level 30)

The master and the apprentice must kill the snake king together (may have another ppl in the party).

4-Change Job (at level 40)

The last task, is to help the apprentice to change his job.

If you’re a new player try to find a master, to have one is the best thing to raise up quickly and earns a lot of good things.

We checked on Marlbor0’s progress this month and found him plugging along merrily through grinding, quests … and yes, levels. Intrigued, we contacted the player behind the toons to find out what’s behind this novel way of playing Elf Online.

What kind of time do you spend on Elf each week? How often do you play?

Marlbor0: I play around 10 hours per day with my friends taking turns. I’ve still been playing nearly every day. I’m still collecting items and training pets for future considerations, and I want to earn enough money so I can buy what I can’t make or grind.

It looks like PvP and Guild War is a huge part of your strategy. Do you foresee continuing to PvP and dominating the guild war the whole way up?

Marl: I have to say, guild war and pvp are the funnest part of the game, but there aren’t much competiton for me now: both on 1on 1 duel or 5 on5 duel . I would love to see more new players joining elf and compete with me .

So tell us — is what it takes to be so powerful?

Marl: Hm, basically, for a game like this, all I needed to do was to get a decent pet from the start. With a great pet, I can work my way training and pking without any troubles. And also, I am making 750 k gold everyday from protection fee of the siege war, which is a huge advantage.

How long have you been playing MMOs?

I have been playing mmo for quite a long time. I played WOW for 2 years and subsequently followed by Conquer Online for a year. I had great success on both games as well.

What about in-game support — do you have a guild or friends who help you out, or is this strictly a solo effort?

Marl: I play this game with a few real life friends, and I’ve met some great friends like YummyOres and HolyMonk in the game who helped me a lot.

Have you ever encounter any struggles?

Marl: Well, yes, when I started to play this game, there was a guild completely dominating the server, and I couldn’t stand that. So, I start building up my team and create my own guild to go against them. It was very tough at first, being outnumbered and out leveled. But ,eventually we conquered them .

What do you do Everyday on Elf Online?

Marl: Basically , I grind and do daily events and do quests, the quests in elf are very fun , and I usually chat in game while doing it. Sometimes I would meet enemies in my way, and we would start battling each other, which brings lots fun.

Happymmo is obviously a new company in the MMO field , whats your anticipations for us?
