Since the initial release of ToP II into Closed Beta, the fervent support of our passionate pirates has made the transition to general release a smooth sailing voyage. With pirates all over the world helping to clear out the test phase bugs like barnacles on a ship, we’re finally ready to begin transferring data from Tales of Pirates into Tales of Pirates II.

In order to facilitate a smooth transfer of ToP data over to the ToP II servers, we will be conducting a trial transfer with the Sacred Sea server on July 14th.

Pirates in Sacred Sea server should take note of the followings details,

1. The original data from the Sacred Sea server in ToP will not be affected. All server data will be copied and the copy will be transferred.

2. After the data transfer is completed, a ToP II Sacred Sea server will be created. You can access this server by activating your ToP II account. To get a ToP II activation key click here.

3. To play ToP II you must have the ToP II client installed. The client is different from the first ToP client, so make sure you download and install the new one.

4. This is only a trial. Certain data on your account, such as points, credits and crystals will not be transferred to the new server.

5. Should you encounter any abnormalities or bugs, please contact Live Support, or submit them here.

Something is stirring in the Seven Seas. Monster waves are crashing, and debris floating amid crimson tinged water has become an all too familiar sight. A call to arms has gone out, and it is up to brave pirates from many different worlds and realms to come together in an epic battle for supremacy! Save this new world and return to it the peace it deserves. Become the hero of the new Battlefield Server.

All pirates who are Level 85 and above are invited to take part in the Cross Server PvP event – Howl of the Raging Sea. Participants’ data will be ported over to the Battlefield Server from their respective servers just for this event.

Event Period

2:00am July 9th to 2:00am July 19th EDT (GMT-4)

Data Transfer

Participants’ data as of 10:00pm on July 4th EDT (GMT-4) will be ported over to the Battlefield Server.

♦ All data of players from any servers who are Level 85 and above by 10:00pm on July 4th will be copied over to the Battlefield Server.
♦ Participants with identical character names will have “+(random number)” added to the end of their names.
♦ Relationship status and data will not be copied over to the Battlefield Server. Marriage skills from the original character will become invalid.
♦ Due to the sheer magnitude of data needed to be ported, possible data loss or corruption may occur to the characters in Battlefield Server. In such instances, we will not be able to provide technical support to the affected players. We apologize for any possible inconvenience this may cause.

Details

♦ There will be 4 rounds of PvP battles each day. Players will have to battle against each other while fending off ferocious creatures to become the true hero of this world.

♦ Our GMs will appear and set up 2 stalls at prominent locations in the setting of each round selling Lucky Card K. At any one time, 1 stall will be selling 1 Lucky Card K. Once it has been bought from one stall, the card will reappear randomly at 1 of the stalls after a short cooldown time. This will continue until the end of the event in each area.

Note: During Chao Argent Fights Event, Cards will be dropped by GMs because we can not set stall in Chaos Argent City. (update)

♦ Any player that attacks our GMs will be dealt with severely.

♦ Players can submit their Lucky Card K for tabulation through Live Support. All submissions must be made before 10:00pm on July 17th. The player who submits the most Lucky Card K’s will become the Pirate Champion of Battlefield Server.

*Each player is only allowed to make 1 submission of all their Lucky Card K’s. Subsequent submissions of additional cards will not be accepted. Players are encouraged to only submit their Lucky Card K after they have gathered as many as they can before the deadline.

Rewards

The Pirate Champion will be rewarded with a 3rd Rebirth Wing that will symbolize their heroic stature.

The server from which the Pirate Champion hails from will also enjoy one full day of Double EXP and an item giveaway event. More details will be released once a winner has been confirmed.

Round 1- Chaos Argent Fights

This is where the battle for sovereign begins. Pirates pick up your sabers and hack and slash your way to dominance! This is the first major fight on your path towards becoming the Pirate Champion.

Round 2- Demons of the Maze

The second phase of this epic battle. Countless pirates have challenged and lost their lives to the merciless creatures in the Demonic Maze while searching for the vast treasure hidden within. Now, there are more than just demons lurking within. Pirates will also have to watch out for other pirates intent on claiming the treasure for themselves!

Round 3- Free for all Bar Fight

Pirates are known to be rough customers. After a few rounds of rum, there’s always at least one pirate ready to have a go in the PK Map, and often there’s no one around to stop them. This time round, things will get messy as the bar will erupt into a free for all brawl. How do you expect to become a Pirate Champion if you cannot even win a bar fight?

*Once this round begins at 2:00am, thePK Mapwill become inaccessible to other players. Players can enter this area again when the round is finished at 2:35am.

Or will a Pirate Champion emerge and defeat the Black Dragon, claiming the treasure and the title of Pirate King once and for all?

What does Server Data-sharing mean?
The Server Data-Sharing Project aims to improve the gaming environment for players, increase the number of server users, and enhance communication in the TOP community. After the server Data-sharing is complete, the server names players are used to will remain unchanged, and players will be able to enter their original server, but now they will be able to play with players from other servers.Read on for more detailed info:

Server Data-Sharing Perform Time

Server Data-Sharing Rules:

1. About Characters and Property
Player’s character levels, stats, skills and abilities will be kept. But if one player’s account has a total of more than 3 characters in the designated servers, the server system will automatically select the top 3 characters on the basis of level order during the operation. If there are more than 3 characters of the same level, the EXP of the characters will be taken as the standard to keep the character or not. (Please transfer your property to the character you intend to keep).

2. About the character names
After operation, there will be a suffix of “+ ” appear on the characters’ name of theSacred Sea players’ and the character name of thePhantom&Aurora Sea players’ will remain unchanged.

3.About Crystals and Credits in players’ account
Players’ crystals and credits will be kept, and any remaining reputation will be exchanged for credits automatically.

4. About Friend list
Due to the renaming of some characters , original character’s friend list will be cleared once the operation is complete. (Before the operation, please make sure you save your friends’ contact details)

5.About Guild Structure
As for the equity of guild principle, thePhantom&Aurora Sea andSacred Sea will disband the original guilds when it is launched. Applications for the new guild will be subject to the Tales of Pirates in-game principle.

6.About the Pirates Club
The Pirate Club data forPhantom&Aurora Sea andSacred Sea will be cleared during the maintenance,so players should keep a record of their data before the operation,and then create a new Pirate Club after the maintenance. (Note: Each Pirate Club name and its Captain’s name must be the same as the ones used before the operation.)The officials will also record all the Pirate Club data forSacred Sea before the operation, but to ensure a smooth transition, keeping your own records is recommended.

7.About abnormal character info
Character Datarmation will be saved during the scheduled maintenance before server Data-sharing release. If there is any character data errors that occur for that reason, players can apply for a character data query within 30 days after the Server Data-sharing. After 30 days, the data will disappear and we will not be responsible for the case. Thanks.

The champagne has barely dried on the casing of TOP II’s new Sacred Sea server, but we’re already running it at peak levels as we test the migration of data from TOP to TOP II. All accounts on the original Sacred Seas server in TOP are now being activated for TOP II. Pirates from the Sacred Sea can access their game account data by logging into the server in TOP II.

Please head on over as soon as possible to help us test for any data corruption. If you encounter any abnormalities or bugs, please report them to Live Support or submit them via the bug report page.

The Sacred Sea trial server will only be opened for testing for a limited time. The exact date of closure of this server will be announced in official website.

2. Once registration is complete, the GM will teleport players to the event suite. All participants will get their Door Prizes and a set of Alphabet Letter Cards.

3. Players must wait patiently for their turn. The GM will party with 2 players for each Guess My Card match. The 2 players will then hand over 1 of their Alphabet Letter Cards to the GM. Once that is done, the GM will ask the players to start guessing the Alphabet Letter on the other person’s card in local chat.

4. Players can make 1 guess each round. If at the end of 8 rounds, both players have been unable to guess the other player’s card, they will both lose the game. Players who have lost must return all their Alphabet Letter Cards to our GM.

5.Anyone who performs any action that may unfairly affect the outcome of the event will be immediately disqualified.

6.The tournament will follow a playoff format. Our GM will randomly assign participants to the different branches of the playoff tree. Some lucky players may receive a bye to the next round if there are not enough participants to form a proper playoff tree.

7.Our GM will teleport players back to Argent City at the end of the event.

8.IGG reserves the right of final interpretation of all event rules and rewards.

Whether its for some hard earned gold doubloons, or the hook off his hand, the sheer excitement of giving into the capricious thrills of lady luck can be hard to resist. One of the most popular games among pirates has to be the Guess My Card game. This game is fun, easy to learn, and can be thoroughly enjoyed whether you’re stone sober or been hitting the rum hard.

No one ever said that gambling was a good investment, but the Shadow Dealer has done his very best to turn a personal passion into a thriving business. Unfortunately he’s more inclined to play cards than he is to run his fledgling casino. Trying to keep his business afloat, he has opened a Guess My Card VIP Suite for pirates who want to try their luck at a true pirate pastime. This exclusive invitation is open to all VIP pirates. No buy-ins are required, and, the Shadow Dealer will be giving away fabulous prizes to everyone who tries their luck.

1. Players must have their VIP necklaces on them when they arrive at Spring Town (3212, 2506) to sign up for the event. The GM will then add them as friends. Registration will be open for 15 minutes. Late-comers will not be allowed to join in the fun.
