We’re aware of a Mabinogi installation issue that Kaspersky anti-virus users are facing. If you
are trying to install Mabinogi for the first time, or re-installing
a fresh copy of Mabinogi, you will need to temporarily disable Kaspersky
during the installation process. We are actively working with Kaspersky to
resolve the issue, in the meantime, please try installing Mabinogi
with Kaspersky disabled.

Those who’ve learned Sand Burst and happen to own a Clay Crystal can throw sand into an enemy’s eyes and blind it temporarily. This will enable you to set up another skill or simply escape. Just be careful not to use Sand Burst consecutively, since sand causes erosion and you’ll risk damaging your cylinder.

Keep in mind that Sand Burst isn’t a high-damage ability, so it’s best used to escape or in conjunction with another attack ability.

Take advantage of these two new Alchemy skills and their exciting features in Mabinogi Alchemist’s latest update!

The last new shadow mission involves Dorren the Master Alchemist. She requests that you synthesize two Stabilized Shadow Crystals using a Fomor dry oven located at the center of Shadow Taillteann. But there’s a catch—you’ll need to fight Fomors to obtain the special ingredients required to forge the stabilized crystals. Reagents aren’t always dropped with each kill, so you’ll need to be persistent. There’s also a chance that you might fail the Synthesis process. In order to complete this mission, you’ll need combat and synthesis skills combined with just a bit of luck!

These new Shadow Missions offer great challenge and fun, so look for them in the new Mabinogi Alchemist features coming soon!

If you’d like to get a field of your own, speak to Blatt about leasing a field. You’ll only have access to the farm for one week (real time) before the lease expires. Your field will be perfect for planting and raising crops, so make sure to check in with Blatt who offers a wide variety of seeds. Consider the crops you would like to grow—you’ll only be able to grow one type—then purchase the seeds.

Now, with your farm and seeds ready, proceed to the field whose location is marked on the minimap. To plant the seeds, interact with the farm management board located next to your field. Each type of crop requires a different level of care, so be attentive to the seed descriptions when making your purchase. You can also perform different tasks while at the farm management board, including fertilizing, watering, and bug-catching—take full advantage of the experience!

Once your crop ripens, you may begin harvesting the fruits of your labor. Once everything is harvested, the goods will be shipped to your mailbox; return to town to collect your goods. From there, you have the choice to use the harvest for your own means, or sell it to other players or even to Blatt for a lucrative stipend. Once your lease is over, Blatt will offer it to the next potential farmer—so get the most out of your week of farming!

As a means of reaching the low-hanging Eweca, Mabinogians have taken to special seesaws provided by general shop owners. The good news is that you can also reach Eweca yourself! Just visit any general store owner and browse their “Event” tab to purchase a seesaw kit. Deploy your seesaw on the ground and invite a friend to hop on the other end. You will each take turns jumping on the seesaw, coordinating your jumps to gain greater attitude until you finally reach the target point. Once you scale that magic number, you’ll be flying off towards Eweca!



When you land on the moon’s surface, you’ll notice that the landscape is filled with giant moon bunnies, tiny cows, and even a dancing panda! You’ll also have the chance to complete the “Reach the Moon” quest, which offers a special Cow Robe as a reward. Once you’re finished with your adventures on the moon, seek the moon girl (next to the dancing panda) and she will guide you back to Erinn.



Now, to spice things up, we will be hosting an event to see how many individual characters can actually reach Eweca. For the server (Mari, Ruairi, Tarlach, and Alexina) that reaches a certain threshold (this number is adjusted based on server population), we will activate an event on that server the weekend of March 26 – March 28. Simply log into your server from 4 PM – 9 PM PST (7 PM – 12 AM EST) and you will receive a special Mabinogi Anniversary item!

So, be sure to get as many people as possible to participate! The more friends that make it to the moon, the better chance you’ll have to activate this event on your server! Progress meters will be posted shortly, so stay tuned!

Dear players,

Please be aware that we will be performing a server-wide
maintenance on Tuesday, March 16, starting at 10 PM Pacific / 1 AM Eastern
and will last approximately 4 hours.

IMPORTANT CHANGE IN MAINTENANCE POLICY: Previously,
it has been our policy to conduct a few very extended maintenances to
accomplish a large set of tasks. We’ve changed our policy to perform weekly 4-8
hour maintenances, with the benefit that we are able to complete maintenance
procedures within the allotted time slot. We hope this change allows players to
plan around maintenance days (late Tuesday night, early Wednesday morning) more
effectively.

Each soldier will reward you with a special four leaf clover. This clover is used to enter a special dungeon where you will face off against an evil, greedy leprechaun!

Defeat this leprechaun for a chance at a special St. Patrick’s Day outfit! If you run out of clovers, you may return to each soldier and ask for more four-leaf clovers to continue your endeavors against the leprechaun.

  

Is luck just not on your side? You may visit the Mabinogi Cash shop and purchase an Event Reward Booster Potion for a better chance at getting that snazzy outfit!

We hope the luck of the Irish is on your side this St. Patrick’s Day, as the event will conclude on March 23rd, so have fun!

For a short time–March 10 to March 23–you may be one of the special individuals allowed to befriend and ride one of these onyx steeds! Like white unicorns, black unicorns can carry up to two passengers. But you’ll need to act fast–these beautiful dark creatures are just as rare as their mystical white brethren!

If you’re extra lucky, you’ll get a
Bonita Twin Ribbon Repair Kit, which will allow you to fully restore
(via the Handicraft skill) a broken Bonita Twin Ribbon!

We’re also releasing the new Name Color Change Potion to the Cash Shop. When you first started Mabinogi, you were assigned a random color for your name plate.

Now you have the opportunity to change that color for a week at a time with this name color change potion! Land on the checkered green and yellow tab to get a flashy color and land on the star to bring up a new color palette for you to spin! Now you have even more ways to make your character stand out in Mabinogi!
