Based on feedback from you, the players, we are making an exciting change to the Star Wars Galaxies™ Trading Card Game monthly booster pack program!

Scheduled to begin with the March 16, 2010 launch of the seventh Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game release, Threat of the Conqueror, and during the promotion period (scheduled to end on March 16, 2011), Star Wars Galaxies™ subscribers with paid accounts in good standing will see five non-transferable/non-tradeable “Choose a Pack” cards in their collection instead of five booster packs. These “Choose a Pack” cards will show up in a player’s Collection Manager in the Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game once a month while the promotion lasts (provided that the account remains in good standing).

Players can use each card to redeem one non-transferable/non-tradeable booster pack from any Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game set. Yes, any set, from Star Wars Galaxies™ Trading Card Game: Champions of the Force to Star Wars Galaxies™ Trading Card Game: Threat of the Conqueror! You can use all five cards to redeem five boosters from the current set, or mix and match as you choose. Star Wars Galaxies trial accounts are not eligible to receive “Choose a Pack” cards.

You will receive the “Choose a Pack” cards in your Collection Manager on the same date of the month that you logged in to the Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game for the first time during the promotion period. For example, if you log in to the Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game on March 17, 2010 to receive your first five “Choose a Pack” cards, you will get five “Choose a Pack” cards on the 17th of each month thereafter, until the promotion period ends. If you log in for the first time during the promotion period on the last day of a month you, will get five “Choose a Pack” cards on the last day of each month during the promotion period. If you unsubscribe from Star Wars Galaxies and then re-subscribe at a later date, you will not receive a backlog of “Choose a Pack” cards for the months in which you were not a subscriber.
